Isaiah 6:8

"And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Words can't explain how full my heart feels right now. The Lord has revealed himself to me in so many ways in these past few years. In all of my endeavors, I always seem to come to the end of the line worshipping God for who he is. He is the only thing that satisfies. He is my beloved. :)

Two years ago I went to IHOP Prayer Room in Kansas City with a few friends. It was there that the Lord really began to lay India on my heart. I knew that it had to be the Lord because India had never appealed to my senses. The only positive thing that would come to mind was henna tattoos and colorful silks. As I began to study India's culture and traditions, it broke my heart. With 82% of the population practicing Hinduism, it is a pretty dark place. There are groups of people called 'untouchables' who are living lower than dirt. It is believed there that if you are an untouchable, you are paying for something terrible that you committed in a previous life. So if anyone helps them, it is seen as hurting them because in the long run, they must pay off their debts in order to live a better life the next time around. Can you imagine living as an 'untouchable'? Can you imagine never having heard the name of Jesus, such is the case with millions in India? Needless to say, India has grown in my heart. A burning passion for the justice of those people has encompassed me.

The Lord has finally opened a door for me to go. :) On June 11th- August 2nd, I will be going to India and Nepal with Global Expeditions. The Lords timing is incredible with all of this and His divine hand of providence is absolutely playing a role.
I am still in a bit of a twilight zone with it all. It seems like it is all a dream. The reality hasn't quite set in for me. I'm worried that I'll wake up and it will all be a dream. But it isn't. :D

I'm asking that you would partner with me in prayer and, if the Lord leads you to, financially.
Pray that I would be tender to the Lords voice in this season of preparation, that my heart will stay humble, and that I will be able to raise funds. Also be praying for the people in India and Nepal that my team and I will come in contact with, my team (whom of which I don't know a single one yet), and for the countries as a whole.

I am so excited that the Lord is leading me to my destiny in Him. I have felt a calling to help people and spread the word all of my life, even before I knew the term 'missions'. I am overjoyed that the Lord has called me into this place. I can't wait to see deliverance!
